Who should skip

Skip it if you need a standalone desktop EQ, microphone preamp, mono-independent dual controls, digital recall, plug-in automation, front-panel audio connections or operation without a compliant powered 500-series rack.

Watchouts

Remove rack power before installation or removal. The module has no user-serviceable parts. SSL's revised December 2022 manual specifies 600 Hz as the HMF lower limit and records an HMF correction, while the current product page still says 400 Hz; the revised manual value is used and the conflict remains documented. `500-SERIES` describes the format and is not an MPN; manual number 82BPHM01B identifies the user guide, not the hardware. No official product MPN or GTIN was found, so neither is asserted.
