Best for

Eurorack systems needing four clean linear VCAs, bipolar CV depth control on three channels, manual bias, and flexible cascading audio/CV mixing in 8HP.

Who should skip

Skip it if you need exponential VCA response, a dedicated final-output mixer with level/headroom features, more than three CV attenuverters, AC-coupled audio-only paths, or a standalone device outside a powered Eurorack case.

Watchouts

Channel 4 differs from channels 1–3: its CV input is normalled to +5V and it lacks their dedicated CV attenuverter. Outputs cascade only while upstream outputs remain unpatched. The VCA is linear, signals above the documented 5V control level clip, and exact included installation hardware is unconfirmed.

Likely add-ons

  • powered Eurorack case with 8HP free space and sufficient +12V/−12V current
  • correctly keyed/oriented Eurorack ribbon power cable; confirm whether included
  • mounting screws appropriate to the case rails; confirm whether included
  • 3.5 mm Eurorack patch cables

Verify before buying

  • Can the case supply 58mA at +12V and 31mA at −12V with safe headroom?
  • Is 8HP width and at least 20mm depth plus connector clearance available?
  • Is the power ribbon correctly oriented with the colored conductor at the PCB RED mark?
  • Does the patch require linear rather than exponential VCA response?
  • Should unpatched outputs cascade into downstream mixes, or must each channel be extracted separately?
